David Tate Gateway With a a smooth leather front and a full Lycra stretch panel in the back, these flat wide calf boots give a perfect fit for most calf sizes since they stretch to fit comfortably. These are wide leg boots that will not fall down your leg even if your calf is not a full 17" or 19" and the elastic panel will not stretch further if your leg is smaller. If you need a smaller calf in this style, you could have the seam taken in by a shoemaker. This attractive casual boot has a relatively flat 1 1/2" heel with a 14" shaft height (this is measured from the top of the heel), a full side zipper, a flexible non-skid sole, a tricot lining, and a buckle accent around the back of the ankle. The David Tate boot line is generally manufactured with W widths all having 17+" calf circumferences and the WW widths having 19+" calf circumferences. We do not carry their medium widths in this style since they all have 15" calf circumferences. If you are a medium width and would love a pair of these beautiful leather boots, please order using your correct calf size in a wider width and you can use a pair of Dr. Scholl's insoles to make the foot fit tighter. |
